Dr. Aaron j Robinson, PhD

Making meaning. Building bridges. Moving ideas forward.

Whether I’m behind a camera, in a classroom, at a pulpit, or around a strategy table, the question is the same: What does this idea need to become useful, memorable, and alive?

That question has shaped a broad communications practice—from producing work for faith-based and corporate clients to teaching courses, developing curriculum, and helping leaders find the clearest expression of what they are here to do.

VintageImagePro Media Group is the production arm of that work: a home for thoughtful media, strong collaboration, and stories made with purpose.

ABOUT Dr. AaronjRob

One road...
Several lanes.

Over the course of my career, I have produced media, taught in the classroom, published written work, and led across faith-based and nonprofit spaces. These experiences have formed the soil from which every idea I carry is cultivated and nurtured.

Producer

In 2001, I founded a digital media company which grew from my volunteer work at my church. What started as a love for storytelling became a full communications platform — serving corporate and faith-based clients nationally and internationally, producing work that carries both craft and purpose. What today's mobile technology and AI make possible for media, learning, and ministry genuinely excites me, and I bring that curiosity into every production conversation, whether it's a sermon series, a brand film, or a live event.

Professor / Educator

I earned a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in pastoral studies, and immediately after, began adjunct teaching. This role became a full-time faculty position. In both the local church and the seminary, I am known for having a vivid imagination, which was carried into every lecture and every lesson plan. I've never believed teaching was about transferring information — it's about giving people a framework sturdy enough to think with long after they leave the room. Curriculum, in my hands, is less a syllabus and more an invitation: come wrestle with this alongside me. That conviction shaped my classroom just as much as it shaped my pulpit, because for me, the two were never really different rooms.

My PhD from Bangor University, in the UK, gave academic shape to a question I'd been living with for years: what does faithful witness look like right now, for people who've inherited both tension and tradition? My research thesis was A Theology of Faithful Witness: a Twenty-First-Century, African American, Pentecostal engagement with the Book of Revelation. This work still shapes how I write, teach, and build frameworks today. Writing, for me, isn't about adding to the noise. It's about taking an idea that mattered in a moment and giving it a form sturdy enough to outlast that moment — a book, a course, a framework someone can return to. Every resource I release, from short ebooks to full courses, carries that same aim: not just to be read once, but to be useful again and again.

Passionate Leader

I've been a husband for more than twenty-five years and a father of five — and both have taught me more about leadership than any classroom did. I have served in ministry leadership across the local church and nonprofit sector for nearly thirty years, including media ministry, next-gen ministries, worship, and as a senior pastor. My most passionate work has always centered on next-gen and youth ministries, preaching, and media. I'm drawn to developing leaders — especially those the church and culture have written off as unlikely candidates for leadership.

A WORKING BELIEF
“The best ideas do more than impress us. They help us see differently—and give us a reason to move.”
